Akara is a nail-led salon on Terenure Road North, close to the village crossroads and handy for Rathgar, Templeogue and Harolds Cross. Gel and acrylic extensions, manicures and pedicures make up most of the diary, with waxing, tinting, eyelash extensions, spray tanning and massage filling out the rest. The standout is the opening hours: Tuesday to Friday from 10am right through to 9pm, which is later than almost anything else in Dublin 6W and makes it genuinely usable after work. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
